A Farewell Wrapped in Melody

With a tender smile and a voice still shimmering with the magic of decades past, Agnetha Fältskog has announced her 2026 Tour, “One Last Ride” — a deeply personal and emotional celebration of a career that has touched millions around the world.

It is not just another concert series. It is a farewell — the final bow of one of Sweden’s most beloved voices, whose songs have been woven into the lives of generations.

“One last time, I will sing for the dreamers,” Agnetha said softly in her announcement, her words carrying both warmth and finality.

The Song That Started It All — And the Song That Will Begin the End

In a move that has left fans misty-eyed, Agnetha revealed that the very first song she ever recorded — “Jag Var Så Kär”(I Was So in Love, 1968) — will be the opening number for every show on the tour.

From the innocence of a young girl’s debut to the maturity and grace of a world icon saying goodbye, the song will carry 58 years of history in every note.

“It feels like closing a perfect circle,” she explained. “I want to start this last journey exactly where it began.”

A Tour Unlike Any Other

Unlike the glittering arenas of ABBA’s peak years, “One Last Ride” will be an intimate tour, favoring smaller, acoustically rich venues over stadiums. Each night will be less about spectacle and more about connection — a chance for Agnetha to look into the eyes of her audience and share the stories behind the songs.

The setlist will span her early solo work, ABBA classics, and later solo albums, including her 2013 release A, with moments of spoken reflection in between.

A Career That Changed the Sound of Pop

From her early days as a teenage singer in Sweden to global superstardom with ABBA, Agnetha’s voice has been praised for its clarity, warmth, and emotional depth. She became the soundtrack to countless lives — the voice of joy, heartbreak, and hope.

For many fans, this tour will not just be a goodbye concert — it will be the closing chapter of a personal soundtrack they have carried for decades.

Dates, Venues, and What Comes After

The “One Last Ride” tour will begin in Stockholm in March 2026, then travel through select European cities, the UK, Australia, and a handful of North American stops before ending in London’s Royal Albert Hall that December.

While Agnetha says she will step away from live performance after this, she has hinted at recording one final album — a collection of stripped-back, reflective songs to mark the end of her career.
